This week's Tuesday Trigger was a
dress made of colorful layers. If I was a wearer of dresses - I'd have one just like it. It reminded me of a clamshell quilt (you can see some photos of a clamshell quilt
here) - you take a toadstool-ish shape and layer it so it looks scalloped. I used one side of a Stampin' Up tab punch to punch out the approximate shape and layered them sort of like the a clamshell quilt would be. Used my favorite K&Company papers, a little ribbon and my favorite Happy Birthday (to you) stamp from Stampin' Up.
It's kind of difficult to see but the Happy Birthday scallop is on a full tab punchout. I tried half a dozen colors and just couldn't find one that really fit perfectly. This one was nearly perfect - at least when you see it in person. :)
It's a heavy card, but it looks kind of cool.
